Josh Simpson's imagination led him to make possibly inhabited planets and megaworlds out of glass and metals such as silver, gold and platinum. He was commissioned a few years ago to make the 1000th paperweight for the Corning Museum's collection. That one weighs over 100 pounds -- the largest paperweight in their collection and perhaps the largest ever. It was such an historic event that a special was made for PBS. This megaworld weighs in at 51 pounds and is available at Vermont Artisan Designs in Brattleboro. It's fun to look at it and continually see new intricacies of design. Call for price.
